1647 - USB isolated RS232 interface

Description:  This module provides for an electrically isolated RS232 interface and is based on the FTDI FT232RL USB to serial converter connected to a MAX211 RS232 serial port driver.  Upstream power is provided by an isolated DC-DC converter and data isolation is provided by high speed digital opto couplers.  100mA of isolated 5V power is selected by a jumper inside the module.

• DB9-M connector with standard RS232 pinout.
  
• 1.5KV isolation.
• MAX211 charge pump driver provides +/-10V RS232 output levels.
•  Internal jumper to enable isolated 5V @100mA on pin 1 (On top of DCD pin).
•  USB 1.1 and up with USB-B connector (USB cable not included).
